Taishiki is an immersive 8-week online course designed to enhance the practice of embodied meditation and explore nature principles through the lens of our seven senses:
sight . smell . taste . hearing . touch
interoception . proprioception
Each week focuses on one sense, progressively moving inwards each week. The course builds on itself from week to week. Full attendance is encouraged to fully build the container from which to continue to practice.
A quiet space, with no distractions, speakers or ear buds, loose clothing and the ability to sit comfortably or lie down is required.
A journal and pen may be useful after the meditation.
There will be “homework” each week. It is not required, but is essential to getting the most benefit from the work.

In this practice you will be gradually immersing your awareness and presence into the sensing nature of your being.
Through embarking upon an 8 week embodied mindfulness and therapeutic nature principles you will have the opportunity to experience
greater self awareness, calm presence and connection to the more-than-human world.
Each week will focus on one of the 8 senses.
Beginning with our eyes and ending with proprioception, we will gradually move inwards, allowing for an increased sense of who we are in this moment, at this time, in this place
